Good to have you back. You know that moment when youāre staring at a screen, waiting for something to load, and all you get is the endless spinning wheel of death? Itās a tiny frustration, but it hints at a deeper longing for things to just work, for clarity and a sure path. That longing connects us to something John wrote, a fundamental truth that serves as your daily anchor in a spinning world.

John's words here are powerful: "The Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world." Itās so direct, so clear, like a good piece of handcrafted potteryāno unnecessary embellishments, just pure form. In a world that often feels like it's trying to optimize every moment, pushing us to rush through experiences, this verse asks us to slow down. Itās a core truth that can feel incredibly solid, especially when things around us are starting to slip. Sometimes, it feels like our lives are a collection of shards ā bits of responsibility, fractured intentions, and overwhelming project lists, leaving us feeling scattered and overwhelmed by the invisible labor of keeping things afloat. This is where Johnās reminder, that God the Father sent Jesus, becomes so crucial. It wasn't a last-minute decision or an afterthought. It was an intentional, purposeful act of love that set the world back on its centering path. We forget that You are in the business of restoration, and that You initiated it all by sending Jesus. Forgive our striving, our attempts to do it all on our own, and the ways we drift from Your intentional love. Help us to find our centering in Your saving grace. Gracious God, In Jesus' name...
