Romans 11:26: Paul on Christ's Eternal Grip & Our Sure Orbit.
Good to have you back. Yesterday, we hit on escaping vanity's grip... Yet, there is another layer to this... Have you ever been in a group chat—and someone just stops responding? Like, total radio SILENCE. You see they're still in the group, but they're not engaging. You start wondering... did they get lost in the shuffle? Did they just… opt out? It’s a small, modern ache, right? That quiet fear of being disconnected, maybe even forgotten, in a sea of digital noise. We feel that in life too—that deep-seated worry that we might just get LEFT BEHIND...
"And so all Israel shall be saved." — Romans 11:26The Briefing
This is where Paul delivers an absolute TRUTH. Jesus ensures every single one is accounted for. Imagine our faith journey as a grand, cosmic orbit. Each of us, pulled by the divine magnetic pull of The Lord, is on a specific trajectory. We aren't just floating aimlessly; we're held in place, kept on course by an unseen force. Paul reminds us that this isn't a risky journey where some might fall out of orbit. No, the vanguard has already reached its destination, and the rear-guard is just as GUARANTEED to arrive. There will be no vacant throne. Every soul The Lord has chosen, every life Jesus has redeemed, will complete its rotation perfectly. It’s not just poetry. It’s architecture for a human life. This truth silences that group chat anxiety—we are NEVER lost in the shuffle...
⚔️ Your Mission
Here is your next step... Practically speaking, this divine guarantee, this secure orbit, should bring us profound rest. Tonight, as you lie down, before you even close your eyes, take five minutes. Just five. Acknowledge the worries, the anxious thoughts about what might go wrong, who might be left out, or what feels incomplete in your life. Then, consciously—and perhaps out loud—release them. Remind yourself that your spiritual trajectory is not dependent on your performance, but on The Lord's unwavering magnetic pull. It doesn't have to be perfect, just honest. This is sleep stewardship: letting the TRUTH of your secure place in God’s orbit quiet the noise in your head, allowing your spirit to rest. Five minutes is enough..."Let’s go to the Lord in prayer... Gracious God, we come before You, often with minds buzzing, hearts racing, and spirits restless. There is so much NOISE—internal and external—that distracts us from Your truth... Tonight, we ask You to quiet the clamor. Silence the hurried thoughts, the anxious whispers, the fears of being incomplete or left behind. Help us to feel the unwavering pull of Your grace, knowing that You lose NONE of those You call... Bring us into Your profound peace, Father... In Jesus' name... Amen."

All my life it felt like… people, or just, like, the universe, could just peace out whenever. Like you’re on your own. But this is saying He doesn’t bounce. He’s not ghosting me. That’s kinda mind-blown, man. Helps me breathe, honestly, when things get slammed at the bar.
You don't have to carry it alone.

Now then, that bit about Christ’s “eternal grip”? Brilliant. Sometimes, with all the bits and bobs of parish life or sorting out things for the neighbours, it’s easy to feel a bit scattered. But knowing He’s always there, holding onto us, gives such a lovely peace. Grand to remember that. It keeps me steady when things feel a bit wobbly, like a mother holding her child’s hand tightly in a busy market.
God bless, Mary.
