I was sitting with this for a while... thinking about a farmer I know, who spends hours preparing his fields, not just for the harvest, but for the simple act of planting... The other day I saw this young kid I know finally land that trick he’s been working on for months… months of trying and failing and just getting back up again… It was awesome…

The Briefing

It’s funny how a few ancient words can read your mail so clearly... Peter isn't just talking about some vague, ethereal concept... he’s talking about active cultivation... think about a garden... you can't just scatter seeds and expect a bountiful harvest... you have to till the soil, remove the weeds, water consistently, and provide the right nutrients... and then, even after all that, you have to be patient, trusting that the seeds will sprout and grow in their own time... Similarly, Peter speaks of growing in faith, love, and humility... These aren't passive traits; they require tending... we have to actively seek opportunities to deepen our understanding of Jesus, to extend our love to others, and to humble ourselves before The Lord... This growth isn’t a one-time event, it’s a continuous process... it’s not about perfection, it’s about direction... It's about consistently turning toward The Lord, seeking His guidance, and trusting in His grace to nourish our souls...
